Flying to Oshkosh

My brother, Chris, was kind enough to let me fly to Oshkosh with him in his Comanche 180. We got an early start. The sun was just coming up. Interestingly, there was a temperature inversion in the area, and the outside air temperature initially climbed something like 10 F before it started dropping as we climbed to clear the Sierra Nevada mountains.

It's hard to tell with the small versions of these photos, but if you click on the small photo, it should open a full sized version, which does a much better job of showing just how pretty it was as we got underway.

Lake Tahoe off the right wing.

Had O2 on at 13,500 ft.

Chris does a great job of holding heading and altitude.
