For bonding on the canopy, I've mentioned I'll be using Sikaflex. The tubes of this
sealant / adhesive come with the white dispensing tips, but those are rather short
for reaching the fillet that needs applied where the canopy meets the glare shield.
So, I purchased some (stackable) extended tips, but they don't have the same thread
as the tubes.

...so I used SolidWorks to model up an adapter...

...and had them 3D printed. The external thread
(onto which the adapter screws) came out okay, but the internal thread (which threads
onto the tube of sealant / adhesive) didn't come out well.

So, I found this cheap tap and die set on Amazon.

|
...and used the tap to clean up the internal threads.
|
|
|
There, that's better.
