Spent some time with the wire wheel, sandpaper, and other consumables cleaning this up. Not too bad.

To fixture the bellcrank to it's respective tube, I need something better than just clamping it in the vise. So, I started fabricating this bracket. I'm thinking I'll heat it in the middle so I can bend this 1/8" thick steel. That'll give me a V shaped piece with two little platforms onto which I can clamp the two ears of the bellcranks.

Umm, yeah...that didn't work at all. I was able to salvage on half of that angle, then solder another little reference angle in order to clamp the tube vertically. Getting close to giving this a try.
