Applied some UHMW tape to the wear surfaces of the latch angles.
The adhesive is pressure sensitive, so it requires a firm press with a smooth, rounded
object to achieve good adhesion with the angle. The change in color makes it easy to see
when it's firmly adhered.

Both angles have been faced with UHMW and are ready for riveting.
Also, I've been making progress curing some of the issues with the heat treat oven.
First fix was to add retainers to prevent these heating elements from coming out of the
grooves at the back of the oven.
I filled the slots (through which the retaining brackets had been installed) with refractory
mortar.
Also made the last two doublers. Here's one of them.
