Here's what happens when the heating elements shrink up...they end up sagging down.

So, I fabricated these plates to embed in the fire brick. The ceramic bushings were purchased on Amazon. Cheap...they were $5 for a bag of ten pieces. Since I need three pieces at each corner, I bought two packs of ten.

Unfortunately, between the two packs of ten, I only managed to get 11 good ones. The rest were either deformed or broken, and one was just missing. Contacted Amazon and they're sending out a replacement pack. Won't be here until next week, unfortunately.
