Today a friend and former colleague came over to help rivet the stiffeners on my floor panels. Larry Dawson has a Sonex project he's just getting started with, so he was glad to pick up some riveting experience. We did some practice rivets then started on the first panel. I bucked while Larry ran the gun. We got the first panel done in about two hours, then broke for lunch. The second panel was completed in about an hour and we didn't have any that needed drilled out!

Thanks for the help, Larry! These look sweet.

After Larry headed back home, I riveted on the edge strips with the squeezer.
